Features to know about

Effortlessly Maneuver Your Trailer: Spring-Loaded, Plunger-Pin Swivel Feature

Navigating his boat trailer across the driveway was a breeze for Joe with the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack. Its spring-loaded, plunger-pin swivel feature allows quick stowage of the jack parallel to the tongue for travel, ensuring it doesn't drag or bounce on road trips. You simply pull out the spring-loaded pin, swivel to the desired position, and the pin locks it in place automatically.

Tackle Corrosion and Weather Head-On: Zinc Finish and Thermoplastic Wheel

Facing challenging marine environments, Laura found the Pro Series Jack's corrosion-resistant zinc finish exactly what she needed. The zinc coating acts as a protective layer, preventing rust and wear from harsh sea salt and weather. Coupled with a robust thermoplastic wheel, designed to withstand the elements and extend the life of the jack, it delivered reliable use on her boat trailer.

Quick Installation with Bolt-On Design: No More Wrestling with Mounts

Eddie couldn't believe how quickly he installed his Pro Series Jack thanks to its bolt-on design. The mounting brackets fit up to a 3" x 5" trailer tongue, making it compatible with various trailers. There's no need to hassle with drilling or complex mounts—just bolt it in and get back to the road or water promptly.

Superior Stability for Heavy Loads: Steel Construction with 1,000 lbs Lift Capacity

For Mark, knowing his trailer had the support of heavy-gauge steel construction was reassuring. Designed to handle up to 1,000 lbs, this jack easily manages boat and recreational trailers' tongue weights, ensuring maximum stability even while stationary. Its sidewind crank handle offers smooth operation, reducing the effort in lifting and securing loads.

Wide Range Adjustments: 10-Inch Lift with Ample Clearance

George effortlessly connected his ski boat's coupler thanks to the jack's 10-inch lift capacity. It extends from a retracted height of 13 inches to a full height of 23 inches, providing more than enough clearance for varied terrains and load levels. The 11 inches clearance from the mounting bracket to the jack's top accommodates even high-lift requirements.

  • Mounting plate Dimensions for the Pro Series Jack # PSEJ10000101 to Mount on a LAK Sailplane Trailer
I went out to the warehouse and pulled one of the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Jacks, # PSEJ10000101, to measure for you. I added dimensions to a photo I took of the mounting plate for you to use to see if the mounting pattern will match up to your mounting plate on your LAK sailplane trailer model T-5. The overall dimensions of the mounting plate are 6-3/8 inches by 5-1/2 inches, and the bolt hole pattern is 4-3/8 inches on center for the outer most holes, 3-3/8 inches on center for the...

  • Replacement Trailer Jack for Heritage Boat Trailer That Uses Welded-On Jack Mount
It sounds like your jack may use a weld-on mounting plate like # F500277 but I pulled one from the warehouse to measure its hole spacing and found those dimensions to differ from what you mentioned. The mounting hole spacing is 3-7/8-inches x 4-1/2-inches measured on hole centers as shown in the linked photo I prepared for you. I checked the Heritage Trailer website and found that many of their boat trailers use the excellent Fulton F2 jack # F1413050334 that uses the above mounting plate. We...

It sounds like you want the cap for the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack - Bolt On - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,000 lbs # PSEJ10000101. For that you will want the Replacement Round Cap for Pro Series and Fulton Trailer Jacks # PS500322. This fits the 2" outer diameter round tube on Pro Series 1000 and Fulton 1000 trailer jacks.

  • Replacement Jack For A Dorsey Boat Trailer
I do have a few options for you however, it looks to me like you have a plate bolted onto your trailer with a bracket welded to the top of that. If you are referring to the plate bolted to the frame in which the bracket is welded atop of, we do not have a jack that will fit those bolt holes and replace the custom brackets. Instead you will need to leave your existing brackets on, and replace the jack with either the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack part # FXP10W0301 or the Fulton Round,...

  • Trailer Jack Replacement Recommendation for Pro Series 1,000 lb Jack
Thank you so much for the pictures and descriptions! It looks like you have the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack # PSEJ10000101 so for a replacement that will install directly to the mounting plate that is already welded on your trailer frame I recommend the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack # FTJ12000101. This typically bolts onto the trailer frame but the snap ring is the same so you can just discard the mounting brackets that come with this jack. The Fulton jack has...

  • Is There a Direct Bolt On Replacement for Shelby 1,000 Lb Boat Trailer Jack
I do have an option for you but Shelby is no longer in business and there aren't any direct replacement jacks which use the same mounting bracket. I recommend simply removing the old jack and placing a bolt-on jack either in front of or behind the old jack bracket. There is also the option of cutting off the old bracket entirely for a nicer install but this is not required. I recommend the Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack part # PSEJ10000101 which has a wheel for easy maneuverability...

I do have a jack for you but the etrailer Item # TJBB-2001-B you were looking at does not have the option to add a wheel. Instead you will want the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack item # PSEJ10000101. This jack is similar to the Fulton F141005014 you referenced that is no longer active. It is a side wind jack, with a wheel, that has a 1,000 lbs capacity. It has a small foot print for the mounting bracket. I have linked a diagram below that will show the dimensions.

I have 2 trailer jack options that are bolt-on, side frame mount jacks that will offer you lower retracted heights than the 15 inch retracted height of your existing Dutton-Lainson jack. One is a similar Dutton-Lainson jack and the other is a Fulton jack. • Can A-Frame Trailer Jack be Removed and Side Frame Mounted Jack Installed
You can remove the A-Frame jack and install a frame-mounted jack on your trailer if you want to. It would not harm the trailer but if you wanted you could weld in some pipe in the old A-frame jack hole or cover it top and bottom with steel plates to ensure rigidity. I recommend a swivel jack, # PSEJ10000101, that can rotate out of the way when you tow the trailer. This jack bolts on up to 3x5 inch frames and has a 1,000 pound capacity. I have linked some videos on this jack for you.

  • How to Install a Bolt-On Swivel Trailer Jack to an L-Shaped Trailer Frame
In order to bolt the Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack, # PSEJ10000101, to an L-shaped trailer frame, I recommend having some steel plates welded to the trailer frame in order to make it a box frame in the location where you want to install the jack. This will provide the support the jack needs to be properly installed. Any welding should be done by a qualified professional welder. • How to Pick Out a Trailer Jack for a Boat Trailer
The best way to pick out a jack is to pick out one that has enough capacity to handle the tongue weight of your trailer. Typically, tongue weight is 10-15 percent of the total weight of the trailer. So lets say your boat and trailer weight a total of 10,000 lbs. Most likely you would have a tongue weight of 1,000-1,500 lbs. Or for something that will make moving the trailer even easier I recommend the Trailer Valet XL, # TVXL25 for a 2-5/16 inch ball, or # TVXL2 for a 2 inch ball. Snap ring jacks like # PSEJ10000101 as an example have a snap ring, see picture, that holds the jack to a mounting bracket.
